If you're unable to send or receive email, or can't connect to Outlook.com, try these method.
If you can't sign in to your Outlook.com, Hotmail, Live, or MSN email account, or you're not sure how to sign in or sign out.
Determine the Outlook Express or Outlook is configured to retrieve your MSN Mail by using the POP3 protocol:-
Outlook Express users:-
1. Start Outlook Express.
2. On the Tools menu, click Accounts.
3. Double-click the MSN Mail account in the list, or select it, then select Properties.
4. Press the Servers tab. If the Incoming Mail text box is set to pop3.live.com, press the Cancel, and then press Close. Proceed to Step Two.
Outlook 98/ Outlook 2000 users:-
1. Start the Outlook.
2. On the Tools menu, and then select Accounts.
3. Double-click the MSN Mail account in the list to open it.
4. Press the Servers tab. If the Incoming Mail text box is set to pop3.live.com, press Cancel, and then press Close. Proceed to Step Two.
Outlook 2002/2003 users:-
1. Start Outlook 2002.
2. On the Tools menu, select E-mail Accounts.
3. Click View or change existing e-mail accounts, then click Next.
4. Double-click the MSN Mail account in the list to open it. If the Incoming Mail text box is set to pop3.live.com, click Cancel. Proceed to Step Two.
5. To receive all MSN Mail by using Outlook Express or Outlook with POP3, remove all custom filters that move incoming e-mail messages to specific folders on the MSN incoming mail server.
