How do I recover my Verizon email password?

If you can't remember your My Verizon user name/password, are having problem signing in or your account has been locked, this info helps.Resetting the password on one of these sites resets the password for all of the following Verizon Wireless online portals: My Verizon, Push to Talk, Family Locator, VZ Navigator and Backup Assistant.


Steps to recover Verizon account

1. From the computer, navigate to the Verizon Wireless                  website.
2. From the Sign In drop down menu, click My Account.
3. Click Forgot your Info?
4. Enter the 10-digit mobile number then click Continue.
5. Follow the on-screen prompts.
6. Enter the 5-digit billing ZIP code then click Continue.
7. Select an option to send the temporary password to then  click Send Password.

  1. As a text message to the 10-digit number entered.
  2. To the billing address on the account.

8. Enter the temporary password then click Sign In.
9. Enter the new password into the Create and Confirm Password fields then click Continue.
    The password must have:-

  1. 8-20 characters
  2. 1 letter
  3. 1 number
  4. Not easy to guess


Then, you will be provided with options to reset your password by using the security question or another way.

If you don’t remember the security questions, click on I can’t any of these options.
