How to fix AT&T Email Login & SBCglobal Net Email Settings?


AT&T is also email business as many people known as AT&T email for their day-by-day email related tasks. AT&T basically bought SBCGlobal email service and merged it with its own business, but didn’t change the name because of the high popularity of SBCGlobal.


Now, the email is known by the name of SBCGlobal AT&T email Login service, but some people call it SBCGlobal mail, which is one and the same thing. After a few years of merging the SBCGlobal and AT&T, there was a third company that came into the picture,With the arrival of Yahoo, SBCGlobal got a new breath of life because all those features that Yahoo used to have were now available on SBCGlobal.





Follow the steps listed below to setup your email account:-

1. Touch Apps  > Settings > Under Accounts touch +Add account
2. Touch Email
3. Enter the username and password.

If you are enable with setting up your account automatically, then enter your email address and password and touch the Manual setup, and use the manual settings given below:
Email Manual Settings.





Server Type: POP3:-


1. First of all Enter your username
2. And then Enter your password
3. Enter POP3 server - pop.att.yahoo.com
4. Enter Port - 995  
5. Touch Next button
6. Enter SMTP server - smtp.att.yahoo.com
7. Enter Port - 465
8. Enter your username
9. And then Enter your password
10. Touch  the Next button

When updating the Use secure connection settings check the Use secure connection box first and then update the port number if necessary.

If having issues sending or receiving in 3G, try again in Wi-Fi connection.
AT&T, Bellsouth, SBCGlobal manual set-up email server settings are displayed in the table below.

Use these to manually set up your phone for any AT&T / Yahoo server email accounts.
